What has been the main impact on YOU from studying for your CIPD qualification?

It has helped me to progress my career further and has set me up for long-term success and growth. I’ve also developed a deeper understanding of myself and how I can continue to improve myself as a people professional.

 

What has been the main impact on YOUR CAREER from studying your CIPD qualification?

I’ve managed to move up from being a HR Administrator at a previous employer up to being a HR Lead. I now manage my own caseload, develop policies, contribute to major projects. Doing a CIPD qualification has been rocket fuel for my HR career!

 

What has been the main impact on YOUR ORGANISATION from studying your CIPD qualification?

My organisation benefits from all of the models and research I undertake while completing each assignment. Every few months I’m unloading a whole load of case studies, databases and mind-maps I’ve either found or created and those help us to further develop our policies and procedures or approach dilemmas from a new angle.

 

What did you like MOST about the course?

The webinars were very good, they created a productive environment where we could discuss our thoughts on each assessment criteria and the breakout rooms were great for us to share our diverse experiences which is so helpful for breaking out of tunnel vision and thinking of new approaches towards the criteria.

 

What did you like LEAST about the course?

It would be good to have more webinars per unit, usually most ACs get covered but in some of the bigger units a few might not get the full attention they need when trying to condense a whole lot of content into a few sessions.

Thanks for letting us know this would help – make sure you join the collaboration sessions so you can work offline with other learners to broaden your learning and also take advantage of your 121 coaching sessions which are included in the CIPD Boost support package as this can help you to go into more detail if we don’t have time to cover something on the group sessions.  We’ll be doing more around this to help learners to connect up with other learners for example in different locations, interests and sectors.  We’re happy to help to faciliate additional sessions too if there’s sufficient interest for example our extra employment law sessions now run regularly to help learners to keep up to date and find support to navigate upcoming changes. 

 

What would have most helped to improve your experience?

As above more webinars would have been useful. I can’t think of much else as all of the tutors have been wonderful in giving clear and concise feedback about the work we do.

Do you have any other thoughts or feedback you’d like to share with us?

AheadHR is a great organisation and training provider, I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve done my level 3 & 5 and decided to to stick with them for my level 7!
